González Beilfuss has developed a prestigious academic and professional career, with over 150 publications in her field of expertise. She has a career spanning over three decades, combining a solid academic career with extensive institutional experience: she has served as Spain's delegate to the Hague Conference on Private International Law, a member of expert groups on filiation and family arrangements in the European Union and the Hague Conference, and a trainer of judges in judicial centers throughout Europe. She is also an elected member of the Catalan Academy of Legislation and Jurisprudence and a corresponding member of the Spanish Royal Academy of Legislation and Jurisprudence, among other prestigious institutions.

She has been a guest lecturer at leading universities, such as Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, and has played an active part in the development of international regulations and recommendations on family law.
