Specialist in economic competition and regulatory and administrative law

Jaime Sánchez specializes in economic competition matters, advising and representing public and private companies in diverse types of proceedings with the Mexican Federal Economic Competition Commission (COFECE), including merger control, investigation procedures of monopolistic practices, requests for immunity, and consultancy and preventive advice on economic competition matters.

He also focuses his practice on regulatory and administrative matters, advising clients on the implementation of infrastructure and regulated industry projects.

His experience covers a wide range of industries, including the retail trade, entertainment, e-commerce, alcoholic beverages, pharmaceutical, roadway, and banking and financial services.

Before joining Cuatrecasas, he worked for over eight years as an associate at a leading law firm in Mexico City.
