Karla Dorantes Collado advises on tax audits, conclusive agreements and lawsuits. She has provided strategic advice to many companies, helping them to successfully adjust their tax situations and to optimize their regulatory compliance.
She advises national and international clients on all kinds of lawsuits before the Federal Court of Administrative Justice, as well as before the judicial branch courts.
She also focuses on critical sectors, including distribution, hydrocarbon and manufacturing, and the primary sector. She has managed the resolution of complex tax controversies arising from tax audits and tax refund refusals, successfully obtaining important resolutions from the tax authorities, as well as helping to finalize conclusive agreements with Procuraduría de la Defensa del Contribuyente, the Mexican organization acting as a tax ombudsman for taxpayers.

Before joining Cuatrecasas, she worked at a leading law firm in Mexico and at a Big Four firm with international presence. She has also completed secondments.
She is a member of the Tax Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce in Mexico.
