Pablo López advises on notifications of concentration mergers to the European Commission and to the national authorities for defense of competition, as well as defending clients in disciplinary proceedings for competition law infringements (including cartel cases and abuse of dominant position) and in lawsuits before the courts.
He also specializes in contractual advice in relation to vertical agreements, and advises on state aid, the design and implementation of compliance programs, as well as advising during competition authority inspections.
Before joining Cuatrecasas, he worked in the competition law departments of national and international law firms.
He has lectured on competition law in the Master in the Sports and Training Market and Industry at ISDE Law & Business School and was an adjunct lecturer in the Master in Legal Consultancy at Instituto de Empresa (IE).
He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
