Rodrigo Pérez Devoto advises on litigation and arbitration.
He advises clients on court disputes and arbitrations involving civil liability, corporate transactions, capital markets, public procurement, constitutional violations and illegitimate actions of the public authorities. He also advises on preventing disputes and actively participates in national and international corporate transactions, identifying and analyzing risks.
His arbitral practice focuses on ad hoc and institutional arbitration proceedings administered by the Lima Chamber of Commerce, the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM), Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and the Peruvian Superintendence of Health.
He coordinates the Cuatrecasas Lima office’s pro bono matters.
Before joining Cuatrecasas, he worked in the litigation and arbitration practice at Payet, Rey, Cauvi & Perez Abogados, and in the M&A practice at Miranda & Amado Abogados.
He is a member of the Lima Bar Association.
He was an assistant lecturer on many litigation and arbitration courses and, currently, he is an adjunct lecturer at Pontificia Universidad in the following courses: interim and executive judicial protection, and seminar on civil law and civil procedural law.
