Victor León Chiri focuses his practice on project financing, crossborder financing, syndicated loans, transactions on the Peruvian and international securities markets, M&A transactions, regulation of the financial system and advice on corporate and commercial matters. He has advised clients from different sectors and industries, including energy, transport, infrastructure and banking. He has advised on transactions in different jurisdictions, including Peru, New York, Mexico, Panama, Ecuador, Paraguay and Argentina, advising local and foreign financial institutions and multilateral bodies, as well as borrowers and issuers.
He joined Cuatrecasas (Lima) as an associate in 2020. Previously, he was an associate at important international law firms in Peru, New York and Mexico.
He is a member of the Lima Bar Association. He has lectured as associate lecturer on the Project Finance course in the Master in Banking and Finance at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, as well as on the university’s Corporations and Antitrust Law courses.
