Cuatrecasas advises CaixaBank on syndicated financing granted to Puy du Fou España for extension of its Toledo theme park

SubscribeCuatrecasas has advised CaixaBank on a €85 million syndicated financing for Puy du Fou España, in relation to its theme park located in Toledo, one of Spain’s major cultural and tourist projects.
The financing was provided by CaixaBank and other financial institutions, with CaixaBank acting as the agent bank and sole transaction coordinator.
This transaction will enable Puy du Fou España to pursue a dual development goal: on the one hand, to continue expanding its range of live shows with the creation of a new one; and on the other, to begin its hotel expansion phase by building its first hotel inside the park.
The Cuatrecasas team participating in this transaction was led by partner Manuel Follia, along with lawyers Magda Munt, Iván Vargas, and Carles Calzado, from the Finance Practice.
