Cuatrecasas advises Columbus Partners and Mérieux Equity Partners on their investment in Ona Therapeutics, which is developing new cancer treatments

SubscribeCuatrecasas advised Columbus Venture Partners and Mérieux Equity Partners on their participation as co-lead investors in Ona Therapeutics Series B financing. Ona Therapeutics is a pioneering biopharmaceutical company developing first-in-class antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) to treat therapy-resistant cancers. The oversubscribed round raised a total of EUR 74.2 million.
Through this transaction, both co-lead investors join a strong group of investing partners supporting the Barcelona-based company at a pivotal stage: advancing the clinical development of Ona’s lead program, ONA-255, a first-in-class ADC focused on breast cancer, and boosting ONA-389, a second first-in-class ADC targeting colorectal cancer.
ONA-255 is designed to address treatment-resistant tumor biology, while the ONA-389 program is expected to advance into first-in-human studies, expanding Ona Therapeutics’ product portfolio and reinforcing its long-term research potential
