SubscribeCuatrecasas was one of the main figures of the fourth edition of the Business Law Awards, organized by El Confidencial, receiving the award for “Best Law Firm.” In the practice area rankings, it was one of the most recognized firms of the evening, with two awards: “Best Restructuring and Insolvency Team” and “Best Public Law Team.”
Luis Pérez de Ayala, senior partner of Cuatrecasas, accepted the award for “Best Law Firm.” The award for “Best Public Law Team” was accepted by Félix Plasencia, coordinating partner of the firm’s Public Law Practice; and the award for “Best Restructuring and Insolvency Team” was accepted by Ignacio Buil, coordinating partner of the Restructuring, Insolvency and Special Situations Practice. These three awards position Cuatrecasas as the leading figure of this edition, reaffirm its status as a benchmark firm, and highlight its teams’ excellence.
The gala, held last night at the Príncipe Pío Theater in Madrid, brought together prominent professionals and personalities from the legal and business fields. During the event, El Confidencial emphasized that the award winners represent best practices, excellence, and the transformation taking place in the legal and technological world.
In this edition, the publication recognized the best practices and outstanding performance of leading law firms and in-house legal departments throughout 2025. With over 130 nominations and 45 finalists, the event has once again established itself as a key event for the business law sector.
