Cuatrecasas has closed a new edition of its Welcome Program in Spain and Latin America for 31 interns studying a master’s degree for Admission to the Practice of Law. Held on January 23 and 24, the online program provides students with firsthand knowledge about how the firm functions and its organizational structure, as well as the values to which it is committed and that shape its DNA.

The 31 students, who have each chosen the specialty area for their practice, are distributed as follows: 19 will be at the Barcelona office, 5 in Bogotá, 3 in Lima, 3 in Mexico City, and 1 in Seville.

Prominent lawyers from the firm participated in the new Welcome Program with various talks, activities and training sessions: Núria Rexach, the firm’s recruitment manager, welcomed the students; partner Alberto Zuleta (International Litigation and Arbitration) presented the firm; partner Mariano Ucar (Corporate and M&A) discussed various questions about internal organization; associates Estefanía Portillo and Francisco Miguel de Pina (Litigation) spoke about the paradigm shift in the prosecution of class actions, using real examples; junior associates Mar Villora and Marcos Díaz discussed the important international experience that Cuatrecasas offers; and Marta Cabarrocas, Jaume Duche and Mónica Teixeira headed the session that spoke in detail about the firm’s Knowledge and Innovation Group.

The firm’s Human Resources team, who provided the participants with all the internal information necessary to develop their practice areas, also closed each day of the Welcome Program.
