Cuatrecasas hires José Santos Ossa as new partner of Public Law and Regulated Markets

Cuatrecasas consolidates its leading position in the Public Law and Regulated Markets Practice, both nationally and regionally, by hiring lawyer José Santos Ossa as a new partner at its Santiago office. José’s expertise will provide a response to the growing volume and complexity of matters in such a strategic practice area for the firm.

He has almost 15 years’ experience advising national and international companies on public, private, administrative and regulatory law, as well as on privacy, personal data protection and intellectual property. He has represented clients in judicial review proceedings, particularly in public procurement, access to public information (transparency) and regulatory litigation.

He has a Bachelor of Laws from Universidad Diego Portales, a Diploma in Regulatory Affairs relating to Medication, Biologics and Cosmetics from the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences Faculty of Universidad de Chile, and a Master of Laws from the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition (Munich, Germany). He also lectures at prestigious educational institutions in Chile.
