Cuatrecasas hosted the awards ceremony of Spain’s Top LGBTI+ Leaders for 2025 at its Madrid office. These awards are promoted by the Corporate Network for Diversity and LGBTI Inclusion (REDI) and Actualidad Económica, the business magazine of Spanish newspaper El Mundo. Coinciding with Human Rights Day, 25 companies and 45 professionals were recognized for their outstanding contributions to promoting inclusive policies and equal opportunities in the workplace.

The event brought together a large group of executives, business leaders, and institutional representatives from the Ministry of Equality. Javier Fontcuberta, managing partner of Cuatrecasas, welcomed the attendees and organizers: "Those of you who step forward are role models and true agents of change. A change that occurs on an individual level, but also in the social and business spheres. Thank you for your courage, your leadership, and also for your commitment.”

In the third edition of Top LGBTI+ Leaders, an independent jury of professionals from the business, communication and diversity fields has evaluated over 130 applications taking into account their career, transformative impact, and inclusive leadership. Cuatrecasas is among the 25 organizations that most promote the creation of safe and visible spaces, boosting cultural and sporting initiatives, and promoting sectoral dialogue through REDI to amplify the impact and contribute to a more inclusive society.

Regarding the distinction, Fontcuberta stated: "At Cuatrecasas we are particularly proud to be among the award-winning companies. This recognition motivates us to keep moving forward and, at the same time, validates the path we began some years ago. Being part of REDI demonstrates our firm commitment to safe, diverse, and respectful work environments, in line with the culture and values ??that define us. That is why we can proudly say that we are an organization where people carry out their work authentically, without reservations or compromises of any kind.”

Cuatrecasas thus reaffirms its position as an entity that works daily for equality and non-discrimination, while continuing to advance in its firm commitment to the creation of inclusive workplaces that contribute to the development of a better society.

Among the professionals recognized in the “Leadership and Management” category, Diego Pol stands out. In his position as partner at Cuatrecasas and secretary of the board of directors of REDI, he has become an agent of change and a visible reference in promoting inclusion and diversity in the business field.

This year's edition is also historic because it has the honorary presidency of Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain, a position that reinforces the institutional relevance of these awards and their impact on the competitiveness of the business sector. REDI and Actualidad Económica highlight LGBTI+ diversity as a strategic factor for innovation and talent attraction, as well as an ethical imperative with a direct impact on creativity and anticipation of challenges.
