Mutares grows in logistics sector with acquisition of Lineage Spain Transportation (Fuentes)

Cuatrecasas has advised the Mutares investment group on acquiring Lineage Spain Transportation (Fuentes), a company based in Murcia and specializing in temperature-controlled transport, mainly for fruit and vegetables.

Fuentes also has offices in Castejón (Navarre), Santiago de Compostela (A Coruña), Picassent (Valencia), Mercamadrid (Madrid), and Vlissingen (Netherlands), employs a total of 850 people, and expects to generate €200 million in revenue in 2025.

Global expansion

Following the opening of its Madrid office in 2020, Mutares has increased its activity with several acquisitions, which are in line with its strategic plans to expand its presence in Southern Europe.
