SATA acquires Transtesa, consolidating its leadership in transporting chemical products
December 13, 2023
Cuatrecasas has advised Zaragoza company SATA on acquiring Transtesa, S.L. and its subsidiary Transportes Soriano Lacueva S.L. in a transaction carried out by Teruel company Translop S.L., which SATA acquired three years ago. Following the transaction, SATA consolidates its position as a leader in transporting bulk chemical and liquid products.

With over 40 years of experience in the specialized transport sector and a fleet of over 200 vehicles, SATA strengthens its position in Teruel with this purchase and continues to work on national growth. Transtesa focuses its Spain-based activity on transporting circular economy products, such as the recycling of scraps and batteries, and ceramics sector products.

The Cuatrecasas team advising on this transaction was led by Corporate and M&A partner Antonio García Lapuente, with lawyers Ignacio Liria Jordá and Pablo Villanova Caro participating.
