Cuatrecasas has advised Azora Capital
on its acquisition of Sociedad Concesionaria Intermodal Bilbao—the concession holder of Bilbao’s Garellano Intermodal Bus Station— from Construcciones Amenabar. This modern infrastructure includes a bus station, a services zone and an underground car park. The “Intermodal” is a practical, safe and truly innovative construction that connects all the city’s public transport (bus, metro, train, tram and taxi).
With this transaction, Azora Capital reaffirms its interest in real estate assets in the transport sector, as already indicated some months ago with the purchase of the concessionaire operating San Sebastián’s bus station. This new high-profile transaction of public impact also consolidates the fund manager’s position in a strategic economic sector within the Basque Country.
Azora Capital, one Spain’s leading real estate investment managers, continues to manage and optimize the most active trends in the sector, from hotels and residences to constructions in the logistics segment.
The Cuatrecasas team that advised Azora Capital was led by Marcos García González
and Javier Romero
, Infrastructure partner and counsel respectively, with the support of lawyers Alfonso Coronel de Palma and Jaime Sepúlveda.
