We are pleased to present the first issue of our publication Cuatrecasas Arbitration Highlights in which we highlight international arbitration cases with practical implications for our clients.
In “our jurisdictions” section, we are reporting about the exequatur under the New York Convention in Peru of an arbitral award our team obtained in Miami (USA), which was followed by a successful and satisfactory enforcement.
For their great importance for our clients in Energy Charter Treaty cases against Spain, we refer in section two of the newsletter to the enforcement proceedings of ICSID awards against Spain in the UK and Australia.
In the last section, we compare arbitration rules in arbitration centers of Saudi Arabia and the U.A.E. and finish with a note from our Beijing office related to the application of the treaty between mainland China and Hong–Kong to enforce interim measures.
