Jorge Monclús has advised on many national and international contractual and litigation cases related to his specialty, including drafting and negotiating technology agreements (e.g., outsourcing, software licensing, and technology transfer agreements). He advises internet, collaborative economy, and fintech platforms; designs data protection policies aligned with the GDPR; defends clients in inspections and procedures before the data protection authorities; and advises on entertainment law.
He speaks regularly at conferences and law events. He is a member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) and of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
He lectures at several universities and business schools, including in the Bachelor of Laws and in the Master for Admission to the Practice of Law at ESADE Business & Law School, and coordinates the Legal Tech course at Barcelona Technology School.
He is the author of several law review articles and publications related to industrial and intellectual property, privacy and technology law, and he regularly speaks at national and international forums on these subjects.
