Specialist in labor law, particularly in regulatory compliance and in restructuring; extensive international experience, advising national and multinational companies on legal matters from a legal and economical analysis perspective, and advising on sustainability policies.
Lara Vivas has handled collective bargaining processes, including mediation in collective disputes and strikes. She has participated in restructuring processes under Spanish and European law and represented clients in proceedings in first- and second-instance courts in Spain. She regularly participates in crossborder commercial transactions.
She is an associate lecturer of employment and labor law, corporate compliance, and investigations at ESADE Business & Law School (Barcelona), and a regular speaker at postgraduate courses and seminars in Spain and abroad.
She is an honorary member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) where she has held several positions, including treasurer, and speaks regularly at conferences organized by the International Bar Association (IBA).
She has written and co-written several articles in newspapers and journals specializing in Spanish labor law.
