María Lérida has advised financial institutions and borrowers on energy projects. Currently, she mainly advises large Spanish real estate companies on transactions to restructure and refinance financial debt, including in matters relating to Spanish insolvency law.

In recent years, she has participated in and advised on transactions for buying and selling distressed debt, particularly regarding preparing and negotiating documents for the buying and selling of non-performing loan portfolios.
