In late 2020 the European Commission launched a set of regulation proposals that will shape digital markets in Europe for the foreseeable future. Indeed, the so-called Digital Services Act, the Digital Markets Act and the Data Governance Act will define the legal framework governing digital businesses and address critical aspects such as transparency and information duties, liabilities for providers and the definition of rights for users.
In this webinar, we will analyze the most significant issues connected with this new regulatory package as well as its likely path to approval and entry into force. To do so we will hear from Mr. Dennis Sparas, a legal officer at the European Commission’s Directorate General for Communication Networks, Content and Technology, who - along with our partners specialized in technology law- will address these issues, offering you a clear view of the developments that will likely follow on from the European Commission’s digital package.
