Aldo Reggiardo specializes in corporate and financial law, having handled many financing transactions, particularly infrastructure project finance in various business sectors.
He has participated in many M&A transactions, debt and capital issues, and transactions to restructure the liabilities of insolvent companies, both in the Peruvian market and in the main international markets. He is also recognized for his work advising banks and financial institutions.
He is a member of the Lima Bar Association. Before joining Cuatrecasas, he was co-managing partner of the practice for financing projects and infrastructure at Payet Rey Cauvi Pérez. He also worked as an international associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore.
He has lectured on commercial law at Universidad de Lima and on corporate law at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú at undergraduate level. At Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, he has also lectured on the course “Assessing and Financing Projects” in the Master of Business Law.
He has written many articles on company law, banking and finance law, insolvency law and securities market law in specialized journals. He also talks at national and international forums on his specialty areas.
