Carles Quindós advises national and international companies and individuals on tax aspects of their investments in Spain. He particularly focuses on private client tax planning, including tax optimization of assets, succession planning (wills, inheritances and donations), and intergenerational transfer in family businesses (shareholders agreements, family protocol and comparable agreements). He also advises on tax matters relating to matrimonial regimes and their termination, and on preparing prenuptial and divorce settlement agreements.
As a member of the Sports Law Group, his practice focuses on tax planning for artists, sportspeople and sports entities, including the creation of structures to exercise image rights, contract review, and assistance in proceedings with the tax authorities. He is also an expert in advising sports clubs and federations on solidarity mechanisms and compensation for training such as that provided for in federation regulations.
He lectures in the Master’s Degree in Sports Law at the Barcelona Bar Association, Master’s Degree in Sports Law organized by Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE), and in the Master on Sports Law co-organized by Universitat de Lleida and the National Institute of Physical Education of Catalonia.
He has written various articles on the taxation of professional football.
He speaks regularly at forums and master degree programs on taxation both in Spain and abroad, including Chile, Colombia, and Qatar.
