Carlos Méndez advises national and international companies on structuring, financing and developing energy and infrastructure projects, as well as on public procurement, including tenders and contract management.

He has represented and advised national and foreign companies on legal matters relating to transport infrastructure projects, particularly focusing on provision and operation concessions in urban transport systems, and road concessions and railway concessions; he also advises on energy generation and transmission projects.

He has negotiated contacts for the energy and transport infrastructure sectors, including EPC and O&M contracts, PPAs and connection contracts.

Before joining Cuatrecasas, he worked for a leading firm in Colombia and for a public investment fund in the energy sector.
