He advises on banking & finance law and capital markets. He has extensive experience in resolving issues relating to capital markets and regulation and he has been involved in capital market transactions relating to bond and capital transactions.

Previously, he worked for the Portuguese Securities and Exchange Commission (CMVM) and he also cooperated with the Task Force for the Prevention of Money Laundering and the Financing of Terrorism.

Member of the Portuguese Bar Association.

He was a representative of Portugal at "ESMA and Investor Education,” a conference that the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) held in Paris in 2013.

In 2014, he lectured at the National Financial Education Plan (Teachers’ Training) event in Porto. He also spoke at the event "What works in financial education? Conference on Financial Literacy,” which the ESMA held in Paris in that same year.
