Founding partner of the law firm Olivencia-Ballester, currently merged with Cuatrecasas; expert in corporate governance, and member of the boards of directors and governing bodies of leading family businesses.
Francisco Ballester has participated in all kinds of corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and investments, as well as a wide range of restructuring and refinancing transactions, and many negotiation processes.
He is legal advisor to several boards of directors and secretary of the boards of trustees of various foundations, and has expertise in drafting shareholder agreements, in the directors liability regime and in the correct operation of boards of directors.
He has lectured in the course at the Chair of Corporate Law of the faculties of law, and of economics and business studies in Seville.
He has been a lecturer in the Master in Legal Consultancy for Businesses at Instituto de Estudios Jurídicos y Empresariales de Cajasol since 1990, and director of the master since 1998. He lectures and participates in courses, seminars and round tables on corporate law, particularly company law.
