Specialist in national and international taxation, and advises multinational groups and family businesses.

Ignacio Díaz is an expert in advising large estates and family businesses on inheritance planning and business succession. He also advises Spanish companies on tax matters in relation to taking their business abroad and foreign companies on their investment projects in Spain.

He has participated in business restructurings, M&A transactions, complex tax proceedings and judicial reviews.

He developed a large part of his career at a leading international law firm where he was head of company taxation (Málaga) and head of transfer pricing (Andalusia).

A lecturer in the Master in Accounting and Taxation at Universidad de Málaga, he also speaks regularly at conferences on taxation.

He has written several publications on current taxation topics and is co-author of Manual del Impuesto sobre Sociedades (Company Tax Guide), Aranzadi, 2013.
