Javier Hermosilla is an expert in advising all kinds of funds, including energy, infrastructure and private equity funds, as well as listed companies and manufacturing groups on complex national and international M&A transactions. His practice covers different sectors, including energy, infrastructure, banking and telecommunications. He also specializes in advising on corporate reorganizations and strategic joint ventures.
Before joining Cuatrecasas, Javier was a counsel at a leading international law firm where, during 17 years, he worked in the corporate/M&A department. From the firm’s offices in Madrid and London, he contributed to the success of many relevant M&A transactions.
In the academic sector, he lectures in the Master for Admission to the Practice of Law and the Master in Banking Law at University College of Financial Studies (CUNEF). He has also lectured in the Master for Admission to the Practice of Law at Universidad CEU San Pablo and Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
