Specialist in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, company sales and restructuring processes, equity capital markets and joint ventures.
He is also part of the Corporate Governance and Compliance Practice, advising clients on systems of corporate governance, prevention of legal risks, regulatory compliance control and crisis response. He has experience advising companies on the consequences of the new foreign investment regime in strategic sectors, which includes critical infrastructure and technology, as well as energy and other essential sectors of activity.
As a member of the firm’s Sports Law Group, he advises national and international sports professionals on commercial matters. His cases include Formula 1 drivers and Moto GP riders, motor-racing teams, championship organizers, cyclists and soccer players.
He is a dual qualified lawyer, admitted to the bar in Spain (2010) and in the State of New York (2017).
He is currently participating in a Secondment Program at an international law firm in the United States.
He is member of the firm’s German Desk, which specializes in advising company groups based in German-speaking countries on their business activities on the Iberian Peninsula.
Founder and secretary of the alumni association “Fulbright Network Spain” and co-chairman of the New York University Alumni Club in Spain.
He lectures in (i) the Master in International Lawyering and the Master in International Sport Law, at ISDE Law Business School, (ii) the Entrepreneurship Program (corporate law section) at ESADE Law School & Prevent Foundation, and (iii) the Postgraduate E-Sport Program, at INESDI Digital Business School.
He is the author of specialist articles on company law and was a graduate editor of the New York University Journal of Law and Business (company law focus) from 2014 to 2015.
He was a research fellow at the International Institute for the Unification of the Private Law (UNIDROIT) in Italy in 2015, and at the World Trade Center Organization in Montana, USA in 2009.
He has an extensive international education in law and business thanks to the completion of multiple exchange programs and courses at various academic institutions in the United States (Harvard University, New York University, University of Montana, Virginian Commonwealth University), Germany (Regensburg Universität, Bayreuth Universität (DAAD Scholar), European Business School), the United Kingdom (King’s College London), Finland (University of Helsinky) and Japan (Tokyo Meiji University).
