Specialist in public procurement, particularly public-private partnerships (PPPs), advising on infrastructure project financing transactions and in regulated sectors such as the food sector.

Jorge Botella has participated in the most important infrastructure project financing transactions in Spain (including transport, roads and highways, hospitals, ports, hydroelectric plants, and waste management), advising large Spanish and foreign financial institutions. He is also an expert in matters related to public procurement in administrative and legal proceedings.

He was an associate lecturer at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 2000 to 2015 and a member of its Administrative Law Department, and speaks and teaches at forums and business schools, and in courses on PPP and public procurement. He has written several legal articles for specialized journals.
