Jorge Llevat has participated in benchmark litigation proceedings in the fields of trademarks and patents, and in the field of information technology and technology transfer, leading some of the most important IT outsourcing transactions in the Spanish market.

He is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association and the New York Bar Association, and of the main associations for industrial and intellectual property. He is an arbitrator at the Arbitration and Mediation Center of the World Intellectual Property Organization.

He lectures in the Master in IT+IP at ESADE Business & Law School, and has been coordinating the module on industrial design since 2014. He was a visiting scholar at the Max-Planck-Institut für Innovation und Wettbewerb in Munich (Germany, 2015).

He has written many publications on topics related to industrial and intellectual property rights, and technology transfer, and he regularly speaks at national and international forums on these subjects.
