Expert criminal lawyer, advising on offenses against assets, the socio-economic order, the tax authorities and social security; handling procedures against the public and justice administrations.

Josep Riba has advised on offenses related to regional, urban and environmental planning, and in sanctioning procedures by international tennis federations for anti-doping rule violations. He has worked at leading law firms in Spain.

He is a member of the Barcelona Bar Association and is qualified to practice in the juvenile criminal courts, accredited by the Council of the Bar Associations of Catalonia.

He is an associate lecturer of criminal law at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and in the masters for admission to the practice of law at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
