Mayda Alapi advises on civil and commercial dispute resolution, focusing her practice on national and international arbitration and litigation. She advises leading companies on dispute resolution procedures before first- and second-instance civil courts, as well as on arbitrations, providing strategic support in complex and influential cases.
She has participated in civil proceedings relating to contractual breaches and civil liability, and actively participates in arbitration proceedings linked to disputes over construction, energy and infrastructure projects and to public-works concession contracts. She represents clients before courts and arbitration tribunals, managing disputes arising from construction, service-provision and public-works concessions contracts.
Before joining Cuatrecasas, she was an assistant and mentor at the constitutional, civil, criminal and administrative law chairs at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. Mayda also participated as a speaker in the 16th International Arbitration Competition, where she was acknowledged as the best speaker at the 2023 CAM Santiago pre-moot event.
