Miguel Ángel Castaño advises on selling and merging transnational companies, private equity investment, corporate group restructuring, and corporate and contractual consultancy, particularly focusing on the energy and infrastructure sector.
He also advises companies on the new Spanish regime on foreign investment in strategic sectors, including critical infrastructure and energy.
He joined Cuatrecasas after working at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a business law lawyer. Previously, he was an intern analyst in the project finance department of BTG Pactual in New York.
He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
