Specialist in national and international corporate and acquisition financing, including debt refinancing and restructuring
Nuria Burillo advises financial funds and institutions on buying and selling interests in syndicated loans; acquiring non-performing loan (NPL) portfolios; and carrying out securitization transactions and debt security issues, including corporate, project and high-yield bonds.
In 2019, she worked at the Cuatrecasas London office where she participated in many international transactions. She completed a secondment in 2018 and 2019 with the European Special Situations Group of Deutsche Bank’s London branch, advising on acquiring NPL portfolios and real-estate owned properties.
She is a member of the Madrid Bar Association.
In 2021, she has lectured on legal marketing in the Master for Admission to the Practice of Law at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
From 2019 to 2020, she lectured in the Master in Banking Law and Financial Markets & Institutions at the University College of Financial Studies (CUNEF), focusing on financing transactions subject to foreign laws and aligned with the Loan Market Association’s international standard, and finance structuring subject to foreign laws with Spanish guarantees.
