Specialist in tax, advising national and international athletes, including non-residency in Spain and abroad; designing tax structures for and advising international funds holding sports rights and bodies managing image rights.

Roberto Álvarez frequently advises Formula 1 drivers and Moto GP riders, motor-racing teams, championship organizers, cyclists and footballers.

Also, over the last 13 years, he has advised on tax matters in many transactions to restructure companies and large assets, in addition to tax planning. On an international level, he has extensive experience in designing international tax structures and in advising non-resident companies and holders of large assets on tax matters.

He is a member of the Madrid Bar Association and the Asturias Institute of Economists.

He lectures in the Master in International Sports Law and the Master in International Legal Practice at ISDE Law & Business School, and in the Master in Legal Consultancy for Businesses at IE Business School.
