Specialist in labor proceedings, particularly in advising on collective disputes and in planning staff restructurings, as well as in collective bargaining and senior management matters.

Santiago Busto was legal advisor to the Confederation of Workers' Commissions of the Basque Country, advising and representing it regarding civil service, collective bargaining, corporate, labor and social security matters, involving an average of 150 visits per year.

He was a director of the Municipal Urban Renewal Agency of Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council, and of the Municipal Company ‘Expansion 21’ of Vitoria City Council.

He is a member of the Álava Bar Association and of the College of Mediators for the Basque Labor Relations Council.

He has participated in several courses, seminars and activities specializing in law.
