Specialist in civil litigation and national and international arbitration

Valentina Alamo represents clients in disputes arising from construction and infrastructure contracts, public-works concession contracts and power purchase agreements.

She also acts as administrative secretary in international arbitrations, following the rules of the Santiago and Mexico arbitration and mediation centers (“CAM”), and of the ICC.

Before joining Cuatrecasas, she worked in Paris at the International Chamber of Commerce (“ICC”) and at Latham & Watkins, and in Santiago de Chile at Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría.

She lectures on procedural law at Universidad Católica de Chile.

Previously, she was a procedural law and a Roman law assistant at Universidad Católica de Chile.

She has been a founding member of the Executive Committee of Santiago Very Young Arbitration Practitioners (“SVYAP”) since 2017, and was a founding member of Latin American Arbitration Practitioners (“LATAP-EU”) in 2019.

She speaks at conferences and seminars on arbitration and litigation.
