Expert in tax law, particularly tax litigation (administrative, court and arbitration) and corporate taxation; also advising on transfer pricing and indirect taxation.

Pedro Vidal Matos is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association.

He is also a member of the Portuguese Fiscal Association and of the International Fiscal Association.

He lectures in the postgraduate programs on taxation and tax litigation at Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

He is the author of several articles on tax law published in Portugal and abroad, namely on the magazine International Tax Review, and co-author of Portugal's chapter on the publication The Tax Disputes and Litigation Review, in The Law Reviews.
