February 7, 2020

Cuatrecasas has signed up to fulfilling environmental goals within the scope of the Lisbon 2020 European Green Capital Commitment – Lisbon 2030 Climate Action, having presented a set of measures to be implemented over the next 10 years at the Lisbon office, specifically regarding power, water and paper, and covering issues related to mobility and citizenship, involving communication and awareness campaigns for our professionals.

We are committed to environmental sustainability and is aware that our activities have an impact that must be mitigated. To achieve this, we have applied measures in this direction in all our offices. In 2021, when the Lisbon head office is relocated to the building in Avenida Fontes Pereira de Melo, no. 6, Cuatrecasas will reinforce its commitment by adopting the highest standards of energy efficiency possible.

The official ceremony to join the Lisbon 2020 European Green Capital Commitment took place on January 29 in Campolide, where Cuatrecasas was represented by Duarte Abecasis.

The initiative’s long-term objective is to make Lisbon a carbon-neutral city by 2050 and one that is resilient to climate change, something that can only be achieved by specific responses at local level in every city, neighborhood, company and home.
