Cuatrecasas has advised Patria Investments Limited—global alternative asset manager—on reviewing and analyzing financing documents and their impact on acquiring the share capital and certain subordinate credits of Concesión Pacífico Tres S.A.S. (“Pacífico Tres”), made up of MHC Ingeniería y Construcción de Obras Civiles S.A.S., Construcciones El Cóndor S.A., and Constructora MECO S.A.
This acquisition enables Patria Investments to significantly reinforce investment in infrastructure assets in Colombia, amounting to around 1,000km of origin-destination roads in the country. The transaction also contributes to developing the Pacífico Tres project, guaranteeing its operation and maintenance, which boosts tourism in regions connected to it.
