A syndicate of financial institutions led by CaixaBank has restructured the financial debt of Planiger (the Amavir Group) and has granted it a guarantee facility to expand its business. Cuatrecasas lawyers Pol Solsona, Íñigo Várez, Arnau Pastor and Mireia Martínez advised the creditor syndicate.
Thanks to this transaction, valued at €153 million, the Amavir Group will cover its guarantee needs arising from its business plan over the next eight years. In addition to being the agent for the transaction, CaixaBank assumed part of the fronting of the guarantees to be issued under the facility. The Amavir Group is a reference in the Spanish elderly care home sector, and is owned by French group Maisons de Famille.
