Specialist in human rights, corporate governance and regulatory compliance.

Soo Jung Koh has held various positions in the Mexican public sector, focusing her practice on human rights, constitutional law, public procurement, information and communications technology (ICT). She also follows up on, interprets, develops and reviews professional rules and international standards in relation to human rights, the environment, the fight against corruption and money laundering, regulatory modernization, whistleblowers, cybersecurity and other areas.

She has held the position of director of multilateral relations at the Office of the Auditor General of Mexico and deputy general director for strategy and regulations of digital government at the Mexican Ministry of Public Administration. Previously, she worked at the Procuraduría General de la República (today, Attorney General's Office in Mexico) and at the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.  

She has helped review and design integrity policies, compliance and training programs, as well as several projects regarding accountability, citizen participation and the prevention of corruption in coordination with international bodies, including GIZ, OECD, UNDP and UNODC. 

Her practice includes contributing to the drafting of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (formerly NAFTA), as well as in the monitoring of the commitments established in the Pacific Alliance.

She is an associate lecturer of the history of law in Mexico at Escuela Libre de Derecho.

She is author of the book "Los derechos jus cogens de igualdad jurídica y no discriminación de las personas migrantes"(The jus cogens rights of equality and non-discrimination of migrants) and has published several articles on constitutionality and human rights.
