Arcano Capital and Bluefield Partners launch co-investment vehicle focused on Italian solar assets

Cuatrecasas has advised Arcano Capital SGIIC, SA on setting up closed-end collective investment vehicle Arcblue Solar, SICC, S.A, to be managed by Arcano, for investing in solar assets in Italy together with Bluefield Partners, a London-based investment advisor specializing in renewable energy. The vehicle was founded by Bluefield Revive Solar SCSp and Arcblue Solar SICC, SA. The deal involved negotiating the investment and shareholders agreements with Bluefield.

Chief investment officer for Arcano Earth Fund, Pierre Sáenz Lafourcade, commented, "We are delighted to have been able to take part, together with our investors, in such a great opportunity to consolidate a portfolio of solar plants operating in Italy together with Bluefield, a renowned investment manager with an in-depth knowledge and sectoral specialization in the field.”

The Cuatrecasas Madrid office team handling the project was made up of partners Jorge Canta, Paz Irazusta and Carlos Ferrer, with the collaboration of lawyers Carlos Posadas, Ana Serrano and Mariano Núñez.
