SubscribeCuatrecasas has advised asset manager Ashmore Colombia on acquiring the entire share capital of Colegio Bilingüe Richmond and Richmond Store. This transaction will consolidate the company’s presence in the country by incorporating a highly regarded educational institution into its portfolio.
The acquisition of the school, through private equity funds Ashmore Andean Fund III and Fondo Ashmore Andino III, is part of the expansion strategy of Legacy Schools Colombia. This growing network of private institutions seeks to support and reinforce its long-term impact, promoting social development through education.

As of December 31, 2025, Ashmore Colombia manages assets worth $2.4 billion through three strategies: public and private equity, and infrastructure debt.
