SubscribeCuatrecasas has advised Leading Brokers United Spain (“Leading Brokers United”)—the holding company through which the German insurance brokerage group, GGW Group, operates in Spain—on incorporating Costa Serra into its group of companies. Costa Serra is a family-owned insurance brokerage with a strong presence in Spain, particularly in Catalonia.
This is part of Leading Brokers United's strategic expansion plan in Spain. The group has a prominent network of average-sized insurance brokers and is known for its strong associated companies in the DACH region as well as in France, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland and Spain. With over 70 offices, it offers clients specialized solutions across more than 30 industries and sectors, from automotive and real estate, to shipbuilding, cybersecurity and civil liability insurance for directors.
