Cuatrecasas advises BBVA, NAFIN AND Scotiabank on syndicated loan granted to Biossman Group

The Cuatrecasas Mexico team has advised BBVA , in its role as agent bank, and the other credit institutions (NAFIN and Scotiabank) on the first syndicated loan granted to the Biossmann Group.

The syndicated loan is structured in two tranches: (i) a simple loan for refinancing the group’s financial liabilities, and (ii) a revolving loan for covering working capital needs. The transaction amount is confidential.

The bank syndicate is made up of BBVA (coordinator bank, structurer, administrative and collateral agent), NAFIN (co-structurer) and Scotiabank.

The Cuatrecasas team advising the credit institutions was made up of León López Iglesias, José Higinio Núñez, Juan Carlos Galicia, Alberto de Villa and Ana Isabel Echeverría.
