SubscribeCuatrecasas has advised Macquarie Bank Limited on a $120 million loan to Pipeline Investment Limited to refinance existing debt of Sociedad Portuaria Puerto Bahía, and for the strategic growth of Frontera Energy Corporation’s midstream segment.
The funding obtained will be essential to develop the strategic plan for Puerto Bahía, Colombia’s most modern multipurpose port.
Advising on this multijurisdictional transaction—involving legal counsel from New York, Panama, the Bahamas, Bermuda, and the British Virgin Islands—was the Cuatrecasas team in Colombia, led by the Bogotá office managing partner, Manuel Quinche.
