At the Extraordinary Partners Meeting, held today in Madrid, Cuatrecasas ratified the appointment of Íñigo Bengoechea (Tax Spain) and Carolina Menichetti (M&A Real Estate Chile) as new partners. Their proven experience will help to reaffirm the firm's commitment to excellence in service and to consolidate its position in highly relevant specialty areas in business law.

Íñigo Bengoechea | Tax partner
A tax planning specialist with over 20 years of experience, he has extensive expertise in the Private Clients & Private Wealth practice, advising family groups, family offices and in M&A transactions, asset acquisition, and issuance of financial products. He also specializes in the control and reporting of tax risks and in the management of relationships with tax administrations. With a Bachelor of Laws from Universidad de Deusto and a Master's degree in Tax Consultancy from the Instituto de Empresa—where he is a professor—he has also lectured at various institutions and collaborated on various tax publications and courses.

Carolina Menichetti | Real Estate partner
She has over two decades of experience advising investors, corporations, financial institutions, and business groups on real estate projects, mergers and acquisitions, asset sales, and corporate reorganizations. Also specializing in partnership agreements and capital and debt issuances, she has been recognized in major international rankings, such as Chambers and Partners (Band 1 in Real Estate), Legal 500 (Hall of Fame), IFLR1000 (Highly Regarded in M&A), and Best Lawyers. With a Bachelor of Laws and an Executive MBA from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, she actively participates in sustainability, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, and is part of the Advisory Council of the Pro Bono Foundation in Chile.
