Cuatrecasas has advised Banco Itaú Colombia and Banco Davivienda on the structuring of a COP 38 billion syndicated loan granted to Digital Ware, a Colombian software development company specializing in corporate management solutions.

For Digital Ware, this transaction represents the ability to have more competitive financial conditions and the possibility of efficiently managing its debt transactions at lower costs, while strengthening the development of software infrastructure in the countries where it has a presence—Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru.

"We negotiated and structured this syndicated loan with compliance and guarantee terms specifically tailored to Digital Ware's operational reality and business model. We congratulate our clients Banco Itaú Colombia and Banco Davivienda for supporting local businesses and investing in the development of the country's technology services sector," said Juan Carlos Puentes, Finance partner at Cuatrecasas, and lead counsel for this transaction.

The Cuatrecasas advisory team also included the participation of lawyers Steffany Serebrenik, Simon Hakim, Valeria Pombo, and Pablo Amorocho (Finance); Mateo Benjumea and Alejandro Manrique (Corporate); and Ariana Fernández and Oswaldo Pacheco (Tax).
