Cuatrecasas advises JetSMART Perú on obtaining provisional operating permit for Medellín-Lima route

SubscribeCuatrecasas has advised JetSMART Perú (JetSMART) on obtaining the provisional operating permit for the Medellín-Lima route. This permit is a further step in the airline’s goal to continue connecting Peru to Colombia, while additional routes are being certified.
It is also JetSMART’s second major commitment to Colombia’s international air connectivity. After starting with Chile, it is now adding Peru to the international destinations offered to travelers.
“We are very happy to support air commercial projects that continue to offer more options to Colombian consumers. JetSMART’s entry into Colombia paves the way for more competition in international air transport,” said our lawyer Juan Fernando Puerta, who led the transaction.
